Who we are
Freeman Firewood is a family-owned business based in Southland, NZ, selling seasoned firewood and handmade woodcraft. GST number 068 489 326. You can reach us on 027 7780 417 or freemanfirewood@outlook.com.
Prices
All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST. Postage is added at checkout and shown before you pay — see shipping. International orders may attract import duties or taxes in the destination country, which are paid by the recipient.
We take care to price everything correctly. If a piece is listed at an obviously wrong price, we'll contact you before sending it and you can choose to pay the right price or cancel for a full refund.
Payment
Online orders are paid by card through Stripe, a secure payment provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. Your order is confirmed once payment has cleared, and we'll email you a receipt that serves as your tax invoice.
Products
Workshop pieces are handmade, mostly one of a kind, and photographed as they are. Natural timber varies in grain, colour and figure, so small differences from the photos are part of the piece, not a fault. Stock is checked again at payment; in the rare case a piece sells out while you're checking out, you won't be charged.
Delivery
Workshop orders are posted as set out in our shipping policy. Responsibility for the parcel passes to you on delivery. Firewood is delivered by us within our delivery area on a schedule we agree with you.
Returns and your consumer rights
You can return workshop pieces for a change of mind as set out in our returns policy. Separately, you have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, and nothing in these terms limits them. If you're buying for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act doesn't apply to that purchase.
Firewood subscriptions
Firewood subscriptions are arranged with us directly. Delivery frequency, quantity and price are agreed with you up front, and you can pause or cancel by letting us know before your next delivery.
Privacy
We only use your details to fulfil and support your order. See our privacy policy.

These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
